Dr Dimitar Simitchiev DDS

Dimitar hails from a small town called Ognyanovo in Bulgaria.
In 1977, he finished his education in his home town of Gotce Delchev. After Two years military service in the Army, he Started studying dentistry in 1979 being accepted as a student in the Faculty of dentistry at the  Medical academy in Sofia-Bulgaria. Dimitar Graduated as a dentist in 1984.

After qualifying , Dimitar worked as a dentist in Bulgaria until 2006 before deciding to emigrate to the UK . As part of the  process and to enable him to work within the NHS in the UK, he Studied English language for two years in London. From 2009 -2021 he worked as a dentist in Kilmarnock within NHS Scotland. After a recent short spell working as a dentist in Ardrossan, Dimitar has decided to bring his many years of experience to South West Smile Care Centre.

Dimitar has interests in Music, Sport, Geography and history and periodically travels down to London to visit his family.
